The North East Mini Stock Tour is proud to announce the sponsor for the CLASH OF THE MINI STOCKS at Spud Speedway on 9/13/2009. Three Rivers Whitewater rafting and Skydive New England will be the main sponsors of the event. More information can be found at http://www.skydivenewengland.com or http://www.threeriversfun.com . The 75 lap feature event will start 30 cars and be $75 to start and $1000 to win as long as 50 cars attempt to qualify, If 50 do not show up the purse will be prorated accordingly.

Portland, Maine – Local stock car racers get anxious for their upcoming short track seasons as the NASCAR season gets underway each February in Daytona.
Short track fans get their first opportunity to see what’s in store for the 2009 season on the local bullrings at the 15th annual Racin’ Preview 2009 show at the Portland Expo on the weekend following the Daytona 500, Friday and Saturday, February 20-21.

Travis Dunbar and Brad Tripp both race at Unity Raceway for the Dunbar-Tripp Promotions race team and are huge advocates for the Autism Society of Maine. And like a lot of racing fans they are hockey fans – MAINEiacs fans to be exact! On Wednesday, February 18th when the MAINEiacs host the Moncton Wildcats at 7:00pm here at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee – Travis and Brad will have their race cars on hand that are all decaled up ready for the racing season. Both cars sport the Lewiston MAINEiacs logo as we've partnered with Dunbar-Tripp Promotions to help raise awareness for their non-profit charity, the Autism Society of Maine.

CHARLOTTE, NC (FEBRUARY 9) – The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) is pleased to announce that it will sanction a Late Model Truck division in 2009. The PASS Late Model Trucks will be the support division for the PASS South Super Late Models at eight to ten races in 2009. The majority of the PASS late model truck races will be 75 laps in length.
