NAPLES ME January 31 2008 – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry announced today that Sunoco Race Fuel will return as the official fuel of the Pro All Stars series as well as the spec fuel for both the PASS Super Late Model North and South series. 2008 will mark the eighth season that PASS has been fueled by Sunoco.

Naples ME – January 31 2008 – Historically the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) has offered up some of the best pay offs for super late model racers in the southeast, and the series’ expanded fourteen race 2008 schedule is dotted with extra distance, big purse events.
While all PASS South 150 lap events pay a minimum of $5,000.00 to win and $500.00 to start, three extra distance races will see the winner’s share double to $10,000.00.

WATERBURY, VT – Three Québec stock car racers have filed the first full-season entries for the American-Canadian Tour’s 2008 Série ACT Castrol, a Late Model series with events in Québec and Ontario. Veterans Karl Allard of St-Félicien and Yvon Bédard of St-Nicolas, along with sophomore competitor Stéphane Durand of Québec, are the first to have committed to the nine-race schedule.

Torco Racing Fuels was recently named the Official Fuel Supplier of the American-Canadian Tour (ACT), in a partnership with Rob Tower of RT Raceparts in Hudson, NH. Torco will be used in all Late Model cars competing on the ACT Late Model Tour, the Série ACT Castrol, and at Thunder Road in Barre, VT, and will provide championship and point fund bonuses to racers at the end of the season.

DOVER, Del. — He’s been portrayed as an intimidating, car crushing creature who wreaks havoc on NASCAR’s most skilled competitors. In 2008, Miles the Monster will become the largest attraction at a NASCAR track and will be one of the tallest fiberglass structures in the world. The Monster Monument will stand 46-feet-tall amongst race fans in the newly created Victory Plaza at Dover International Speedway.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 27, 2008) – The Chip Ganassi with Felix Sabates racing program became the first team to capture a Rolex 24 At Daytona overall victory in three straight years when Rolex Series stars Scott Pruett, Memo Rojas and NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Juan Pablo Montoya and Dario Franchitti captured the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 season opener in the No. 01 TELMEX/Target Lexus Riley. The record breaking race was the 46th running of the classic endurance race.
