Vallee-Jonction, Quebec – DJ Shaw made the most of an off weekend from PASS competition, taking the win at Autodrome Chaudiere in a 150 lap open competition race. Using this race as a test session of sorts for the final two races of the Pro All Stars Series North Autobus Quebecois Triple Crown Series, the team was confident they had made the right changes to the setup since their last trip to Chaudiere.
The day started off with rain showers breaking up the practice sessions, but anytime the #60 Precision JLM Toyota Camry went on the track, it was flawless. Starting on the pole in his heat race, Shaw drove away from the field and made it look easy to take the win, giving him the outside of the front row for the feature event.

This race season, Casey Call from Pembroke, NH has made the move from racing karts and quarter midgets to racing Bandoleros in the Gifford’s Ice Cream Bandolero Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).
The first step for most race car drivers is racing in karts, and according to Casey: “When I was 4 ½, my dad bought me my first Quarter Midget and we started racing it at Route 106 Race Park every weekend. It was a big learning curve for me but I loved every minute of it. In our first year we won seven times and I won the track championship! Since then, I have moved up the karting ranks and have won a total of five Championships between two tracks and was also awarded with Driver of the Year at Twin State Speedway last year!”
