St.Clair wins twice on another rain-shortened Unity Raceway card

Unity, ME — Josh St. Clair of Liberty drove to victory lane twice in one day for the second time this season on a special Saturday afternoon “Wrestling & Racing” card at Unity Raceway, offering up double points in all racing divisions.

St.Clair came from the back of the pack in both the Late Model and Super Street division main events in impressive fashion.

Doyon, Moulton and Kimball big winners on busy racing card at Unity Raceway

Unity, Maine – Joey Doyon of Winterport won in his first appearance in
the top weekly class at Unity Raceway Friday night, while top support
division wins went to Steve Moulton of Glenburn in the Super Street
division, and Shelby Kimball of Cornville in a special 25-lapper for
the Ladies class as the Raceway celebrated Independence Day a bit late
due to wet conditions on the Holiday’s Eve.

Josh St.Clair wins twice at Unity

Unity, Maine – Josh St.Clair of Liberty celebrated Independence Day
Eve with a wire-to-wire, 75-lap Late Model feature race victory Friday
night at Unity. The third-generation Liberty racer, and grandson of
multi-time Unity Raceway track champion Dave “Boss Hogg” St.Clair,
also drove to victory lane following the 25-lap main event for the
Super Street division.

Fireworks, food drive and racing at Unity Raceway Friday night
(Make-up dates for NWA Wrestling, PASS Super Late Model race announced)

Unity, Maine – Fireworks and racing highlight Friday night’s
Independence Day weekend show at Unity Raceway. The action kicks off
at 6:30 p.m. with stock car racing for championship series racing in
all regular divisions. After dark, fans and competitors will be
treated to a giant fireworks display.

UNITY RACEWAY – SEPTEMBER 19

Mother Nature was kind to Unity Raceway this week, but Jack Frost made his first appearance. The cold weather didn't keep the drivers from putting on one of the best shows of the year. The Sportsman division raced at 50 lap qualifier race for the Nationals to be held at Wiscasset Raceway. Donnie York and Kris Huff started the heat race side by side for the lead. Caution would fly on lap 4 when Bryan Robbins and Nate Weston would find the turn one bank. Huff would jump to the lead on the restart and cruise to the heat race win.
