Justin Trombley wins at Speedway 95

The forecasted bad weather held off for a very exciting NEMST race at Speedway 95, with Justin Trombley taking the win at the track he used to race weekly. Trombley and Cayer both won their heat races but had to start in the back with the tour’s handicapping system. Seventeen cars showed up to race with only 14 taking the green flag in the feature event.

Speedway 95 Preparations

The NEMST is headed to Speedway 95 in Hermon, Maine Saturday night for the make up of the May 17th Rain cancelled event. This will be the first show in the state of Maine for the NEMST, the home state for a lot of the participants. The season so far has been great for some and not so good for others. Problems have plagued numerous fast cars in the past two events, but Emerson Cayer is heading into the third race of the season with 2 wins and Justin Trombley right on his heels in the points standings.

Ryan Newman, NEMA Midgets Invade Lee USA Speedway

Route 125, Lee, NH., Friday night June 26, to compete with the popular
Northeastern Midget Association. Newman will drive a car owned and prepared
by Bertrand Motorsports, a top team on the NEMA circuit.

Autograph Night, PASS Modifieds at Lee Friday Night

Lee, NH (June 15, 2009) — It has become an annual Lee USA Speedway event
that is hugely popular with fans young and old. Autograph Night, a track
annual meet and greet, is as popular with the drivers, as it is with fans.

RACE RESULTS FOR JUNE 12th AT LEE USA

Lee, NH – Former champion Wayne Helliwell, Jr. became the second repeat
winner of the season in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Models at
Lee USA Speedway last Friday night, scoring a convincing win in the 50-lap
main event.

Emerson Cayer Makes it 2 for 2 At WMMP

The NEMST has successfully completed to second race of seven points races for the 2009 season. Emerson Cayer made it 2 for 2 in a thrilling finish. Shawn Sinclair started on the pole after Ricky Porter elected to take the rear of the field to run for the Mainely Motorsports Hard Charger award. Shawn was in control of the race for the first 10 circuits, leading Loren Smith Jr. and Loren Smith Sr. Roger Ducharme made the long haul again from Foster, RI to have a strong first half showing while falling back to the seventh position in the finshing order.
