(Hermon, Me) It was a busy weekend of racing at Speedway 95, with racing both Saturday, and Sunday, with rain spoiling a little of the action on Saturday Night

            The Pro-All Stars were in town Saturday for a 150 lap event, and brought the PASS MODS along for the ride. Gary Norris, Jr. was the winner in the Mods, with Chris Staples second and Chris Smith third. Richie Dearborn earned the win in the PASS Super Late Model 150, with Trevor Sandborn, second, and Scott Chubbuck in third.

(Hermon, Me) With fireworks visible over turn two from Hampden’s Children’s Days, Speedway 95 once again sprang into action with racing in all 5 division, and the series finale for the Sport-Four division.

(Hermon, Me) The CAM II Racing Fuels Super Street Series came to an end at Speedway 95 Saturday, August 4th with Steve Moulton of Glenburn earning the championship by just two points over John Kalel, II of Orrington.

(Hermon, Me) The Coca Cola Limited Sportsman Series Championship was settled in a 50-lap feature Saturday July 28th at Maine’s family fun track, Speedway 95

            Despite leading every lap in the third and final race of the Coca Cola Limited Sportsman Series and coming home with the win, it was not Bobby Seger, Jr. of Frankfort who grabbed the series Championship, it was fourth place finisher Brenton Parritt of Steuben who had the most points and earned the title. Seger, who is headed off to NASCAR tech school this week did however, end his season with a dominate finish, over Deane Smart of Bradley who took second and Nick Jenkins of Milo who grabbed third from Parritt with two laps to go.
