Curtis Anderson driver of the number 99 is all set for this weekend’s Mainely Motorsports 400 at Richmond Karting Speedway. “Yes I’m very excited” Curtis commented as the Anderson Race Team, get ready for the race weekend.
With over ten wins this season at RKS in the Sportsman Series, Curtis knows the secret to getting driving into victory lane. “Holding your line staying focused and being patient waiting for the right time and making the right decision.”
Though this weekend’s race is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, Curtis like most drivers at RKS prefers racing at night under the light. “I like the night races because I put lights on my kart and it looks really cool.”

US Teams Take on Canada in Showdown at Chaudière
Waterbury, VT – Championship point battles will go on hold this Saturday, September 8, when American Canadian Tour and Série ACT Castrol teams go head-to-head at Autodrome Chaudière. The “Showdown at Chaudière” will pit the US Tour’s best versus the elite of the Série ACT Castrol in an epic 200-lap battle for ultimate bragging rights.
The Showdown is a team-based event, where American and Canadian drivers will try to earn the lowest score for the overall win. First place awards one point, second place awards two, and so on. The members of the team with the least points at the finish will each get an added chunk of the $35,000 purse.

Championship Banquet and Rules Meeting Nov. 17
The Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock season has been eventful to say the least throughout the first seven events in 2012. The top six drivers are separated by a mere 76 points and numerous competitors are signing on to finish out the season with the ever growing NEMST.
As the temperatures cool off and competition levels rise it becomes time to plan the year end festivities. This season the NEMST will offer a Championship Banquet catered by series title sponsor Texas Roadhouse that will showcase and award the drivers finishing in the top ten points positions over the year. For the first time the year-end banquet will be held in a central location to try and increase attendance while making it easier for all drivers to attend. The banquet will be held at the Days Inn Convention Center in Methuen, MA located conveniently near both I-93 and I-495 in northern Massachusetts.

ACT Invites Additional Ten to Loudon
Ten More Teams Invited to Bond Auto ACT Invitational

ACT officials have announced invitations 11-20 for the Bond Auto ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 22. These ten teams have earned their invites through their performance in either the American Canadian Tour or Série ACT Castrol.
Invites have been handed out to top drivers spanning across the Northeastern U.S. and Canada. Rhode Island’s Ray Parent, who currently sits inside the top ten in ACT points, has earned his second invite to the Invitational in his two years on the Tour. 7-time American Canadian Tour Champion Jean Paul Cyr, and Vermont’s Jamie Fisher, as well as Scott Dragon piloting the Richard Green Racing #16NY have gained entry to the 50 lap event. Quebec star Dany Trepanier, who sits sixth in the Série ACT Castrol, will take his shot seeking to be the first Canadian to win the Invitiational.

Lee, NH – With the regular NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season finale just a week away, Lee USA Speedway’s back to school Friday night program featured race car rides for kids and the annual running of the 50-lap Lance Davis Memorial race for the Prime Storage Warehouse Late Model Sportsmen at the top of the card.
The Davis family presented the winner’s hardware to former champion Grant Aither, who proved to be the class of the field in the main event. Aither took the lead from Timmy Johnson in the early going, and he set the pace the rest of the way to easily collect the win and the huge trophy that went with it.
